Vintage Japanese Shino Sake Bottle & Mini Vase
A beautifully textured sake bottle and equally lovely used as a small vase.
Visually, the glaze is Shino-yaki, a Japanese ceramic style associated with Mino ware, known for its warm feldspathic glazes and subtle red firing marks. The irregular glaze and imperfect form give this piece wabi-sabi character.
Originally intended as a sake bottle, it can also be used decoratively as a mini vase.
