Domestic Shipping

We offer Australia-wide shipping. Shipping rates and any applicable free-shipping thresholds are displayed at checkout.

Orders are typically dispatched within 3–5 business days of purchase. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information where available.

Delivery timeframes provided by Australia Post or other delivery providers are estimates only and may vary depending on location, peak periods and circumstances outside our control.

Lost or Damaged Orders

Each order is carefully inspected and securely packaged prior to dispatch.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and include clear photographs of:

• the item;
• the outer packaging;
• the internal packaging; and
• the shipping label.

Please retain the item and all original packaging while we assess the issue.

If your parcel appears to be lost in transit, please contact us so we can investigate the delivery with the relevant postal or courier provider.

Where appropriate, we will work with the delivery provider to investigate lost or damaged parcels and provide any remedy required under the Australian Consumer Law.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the vintage, antique and one-of-a-kind nature of our collection, Kami Home does not accept returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

Please choose carefully and review all photographs, measurements, condition notes and product descriptions before purchasing.

This includes where an item does not suit your space or personal preference, you no longer require the item, or you expected a different size where measurements were provided.

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Vintage & Antique Items

Our collection predominantly consists of vintage, antique, second-hand and handmade pieces.

Signs of age, previous use and natural variation are to be expected and may include patina, surface wear, crazing, staining, firing marks, glaze variation and irregularities associated with handmade production.

We endeavour to clearly photograph and describe any notable condition issues within each product listing. Please review all photographs and condition information carefully before purchasing.

Measurements are taken by hand and may vary slightly. Colours may also appear somewhat different depending on lighting, photography and individual screen settings.

Wear, characteristics or imperfections that have been clearly disclosed in the product description or photographs form part of the condition in which the item is sold.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you believe your item is faulty, materially different from its description, or you have received an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and photographs showing the issue.

We may request additional photographs or information so that we can reasonably assess the item before determining the appropriate remedy.

Where an item does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Damage After Delivery

Kami Home is not responsible for damage caused after successful delivery through misuse, mishandling, accidental damage, inappropriate cleaning or care, or use inconsistent with the item's intended purpose.

Due to the age and delicate nature of many vintage and antique pieces, we recommend handling all items with appropriate care.

Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled prior to dispatch.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. This does not affect any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds

Where a refund has been approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Please allow additional time for your bank, card provider or payment service to process the refund after it has been issued.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
